Kanto-Chubu Region

a) An M5.8 earthquake and an M5.7 occurred on 20 Feb. off the eastern shore of the Kanto Region.

b) Numerous microearthquakes, the largest of M3 class, occurred in early Feb. in central Mie Pref.

Furthermore, though it is outside our time frame, an M6.2 earthquake occurred on 2 Mar. off the eastern shore of the Kanto Region (territory [a]).
