b) An M4.0 earthquake occurred on 21 Feb. in the Aizu region of Fukushima Pref. (maximum intensity: 3).

c) An M5.1 earthquake occurred on 26 Feb. off the southern coast of Akita Pref. and caused damage (maximum intensity: 5 lower).
