An M5.1 earthquake occurred southeast off the coast of Nemuro Peninsula. An M5.3 earthquake occurred east off the coast of Hachijojima Island.

An M5.1 earthquake occurred in the vicinity of Taiwan.

Furthermore, though it is outside our time frame, an M6.1 deep-focus earthquake occurred on 3 July in the sea off Chichijima Island.
