Seismic activity in the whole of Japan September 2000 (Magnitude 4 and greater)
There was an M5.1 event in the Chishima Archipelago. There was an M5.2 event in the active zone of the 1994 earthquake that occurred in the sea east of Hokkaido. There was an M5.3 event in the sea near Niijima-Kozushima (sea west of Toshima). There was an M5.1 event about 80 km southwest of Yonagunijima (near Taiwan). There was an M6.0 event near Taiwan.
