Seismic activity in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture (in the vicinity of Mt. Bandai.)

On April 26, there was an M4.3 crustal earthquake at a depth of 14 km. Its mechanism was a reverse fault type on a NW-SE pressure axis. On February 21 of last year, there was an M4.0 event in approximately the same location, with a very similar mechanism.
